we all enjoyed this site very much,
the main reception is at the entrance to the park with barriers to stop any unwanted guests entering the park and is manned by the staff who open this when you want in,the only problem is that the reception has been built very near the main gate therfore can sometimes cause you to block the main road if there is a few cars and caravans waiting to get in together,
the pitches were very well maintained with short grass and slabs for your caravan to sit on,good laundry and dish wash area,toilets and showers were cleaned regular although there is only one toilet block for all the caravans to use and if you are at the bottom of the site there is a small walk up a hill to reach the toilets,we think this site could benefit from having another toilet block situated near the bottom of this park.
the kids were very impressed by the childerens play park as it was fenced in to stop dogs wandering in and annoying them.
there is a large playing field for ball sports and a dog walk .
there is also plenty tent pitch areas which are very well maintained with short grass,there is a portacabin toilet block for the tents to use at the top of the park next to the sport field.
all the staff were polite and friendly.
if visiting alton towers theme park or water park then this is the site for you as it is just 5 mins down the road.
